Vacation update/Reservation status

Hello all, I wanted to give you the good news update on the restaurant. We ARE taking reservations for tomorrow (New Year's Eve), but with the ruling that was passed today the indoor dining is limited to 25% with contact tracing, so there's extremely limited availability. We also wanted to update you on the status of the yearly vacation that the restaurant takes starting on January 1st. The vacation will go from January 1st through January 19th with the restaurant re-opening on January 20th. Please make your plans accordingly. And together we can say goodbye to the year 2020 

New restrictions/vacation coming up

Hello all, in case you haven't already heard the news Anne Arundel County is putting more restrictions on restaurants and other businesses coming up. Starting Wednesday, December 16th restaurants will no longer be able to have limited dine-in as an option due to the coronavirus. We will, however, still allow take-out orders during those same days. We also have a vacation for the restaurant starting in January, we are uncertain of the exact days it will take place currently, but just to give you a heads-up if you were planning to eat out those days.

Mobile viewing issue resolved

Hey again, it has recently come to my attention due to a comment on my last post here that someone viewing the website couldn't see the menu. I didn't quite understand what they were talking about until I investigated the issue a bit more. Finding out that if you tried to view our website on mobile devices it'd show just the posts that I've listed on here and nothing else...including the calendar, main menu, wine menu, luncheon menu, etc. 

Since a lot of people apparently view our site on mobile devices it posed a very large problem. Luckily, there's apparently a setting hidden away that allowed me to turn off the 'mobile interface' so it defaults to the entire website. Hopefully this will allow more people will be able to see the entire site on their mobile devices and make decisions accordingly on what they want to order. Sorry for the inconvenience

The future of dining at the Edgewater Restaurant (active now)

So we will be keeping the hours that we have been doing for the carry-out. That is on Wednesdays and Thursdays we'll be open from 4-8pm, Fridays and Saturdays from Noon-8pm, and Sundays Noon-7pm. We'll be open for carryout as well as limited seating dine-in during those times.

In order to do the dine-in customers must wear a mask and be seated to be served. The restaurant will be disinfecting everything we can and throw away what we can't. Our employees will wear masks and are very diligent about washing and sanitizing hands.

We will also be closed from June 28th through July 7th coming up. After that, we will plan on the schedule as it comes closer to re-opening time on July 8th.


Another note as well: Currently the salad bar is closed due to the pandemic. We do offer to-go pre-made salad as an option though. Thank you for understanding

Closing for eating in related to Coronavirus/COVID-19. Carry-out will be available

Hello everyone. I'm sure at this point most people are aware of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and the precautions everyone is taking to not spread it. Because of this Coronavirus, we are closing the Edgewater Restaurant for eating in. We will still be open on Wednesdays-Sundays for carryout. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we'll be open from 4-8pm for carryout. Fridays and Saturdays, we'll be open from Noon-8pm, and on Sundays, we'll be open from Noon-7pm.

Also, be sure to call for confirmation on the hours ahead of time as they may change without notice.

Update: Just a quick update, we wanted to assure you that the menu listed on here is updated to reflect the prices as they are now. I've verified this with Debbie as well.
